My wife is Helen and we have been married since 1978. We have four children. One still at University and one involved in overseas mission. Each of our four children have their own personal relationship with God for which both Helen and I are eternally grateful.
I came back into the church as a result of doing baptism preparation for our third child. I found that for me to be able to make the baptismal promises for my child I needed to make a commitment to Christ. The church was a church in renewal and when I walked into the church it was like I was coming home. It is from this background of renewal that my ministry has grown.
My heart for the church is that every member of the church will grow into the person that God has intended - and that He calls us all to be using the gifts we have for the glory of God. I also have a heart for mission, both local and overseas and have been on short-term mission teams to South Africa and Nepal.
Helen has a gift of hospitality and loves people to just drop in for a chat or a cup of tea or coffee. We would be very happy to welcome you and help you feel at home in our parish family.
